Why use this URL formatter
Readable at a glance
Protocol, host, path, every query parameter and the fragment each get their own line, with percent-encoding decoded.
Edits sync both ways
Change a parameter, the path or the host and the full URL is rebuilt instantly. Type in the URL and the parts follow.
Private by design
Parsing happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, logged or stored on a server.
Frequently asked questions
What does a URL formatter do?
It splits a URL into its components — protocol, host, port, path, query parameters and fragment — and shows each one on its own line, so long links become easy to read, debug and edit.
How do I edit a query parameter?
Change the key or value in the parameter list. The URL in the input box is rebuilt immediately, and you can add, remove or sort parameters with one click.
Can it handle a URL inside another URL?
Yes. When a parameter value is itself a URL, such as a redirect link, open it to format the nested URL. Your edits are written back into the outer URL with the correct encoding.
Is my URL sent to a server?
No. All parsing and formatting runs locally in your browser, so tokens and private links stay on your device.
